Assorted Interesting Covers & Post Cards

I found some of the Hong Kong covers interesting because they were from around the time of the handover from British to Chinese rule in 1997.

Hong Kong:

• Official government cover sent soon after the handover from British rule to Chinese rule. Shows cancellation of "Her Majesty's" from "On Her Majesty's Service". 2 similar covers.
• Official government cover sent after the handover from British rule to Chinese rule. Inscribed "On Government Service". Registered cover. 3 similar covers.
• Official government cover sent after the handover from British rule to Chinese rule. Inscribed "On Government Service". Stamped with "Immigration Department"
• Registered mail with the Certificate of Posting of a Registered Packet. . Returned to sender due to unknown address. Dated July 3, 1997, soon after the handover. If I am not mistaken, this was the first day the post office was opened after the handover. I may be wrong. 2 similar covers.

• Damaged cover from Canada to HK. The post office officially sealed, and repackaged this item. Contents still included, so may be a little heavy to mail.
• Cover with the Franking label upside down.

Hong Kong Postcards:

• Post card from HK Post office to Thailand.- Merry X'mas and Happy New Year - 1997.
• Post card from HK Post office to Thailand - Happy Year of the Tiger. - 1998.

Thailand:

• Registered cover from USA to Thailand with incomplete address. Returned to sender. Lots of cancels on the back.
• Cover from Australia to Thailand which was returned to sender.
